ON- SITE TRAINING
Why on-site training from CRST?
In late 2004, CRST did a large survey of clinical research site professionals. Here is what they told us: - The best way to learn the job is in a workshop led by an experienced coordinator
- Most coordinators are trained "catch as catch can" on the job or via lectures or self-study materials
- Most coordinator training is not viewed as effective
- The cost of workshop training, especially travel costs, is a huge barrier for many sites.
We can help. We can bring CRST to you-- to your site-- to your city. For 10 people, the cost is about the same as sending 10 people to another city; for 15, 20, or 30 people, the savings can be significant.
CRST has provided in-house programs for leading sites such as Johns Hopkins. The Cleveland Clinic, Geisinger Health System and Stanford University. We are now also providing training for the Ontario Cancer Research Network.
We have also worked with smaller sites to work with other local sites to promote a session and share the savings.
